Superzme-P is a phytase enzyme specially designed for use in feed for monogastric animals fed on diet containing plant material.
It reduces anti-nutrient action of non-degradable phytic acid so as to improve the nutrient utilization. Application
Superzme-P is used to improve nutritional quality of phytic acid rich feed ingredients. It is recommended for feeds designed for birds and monogastric animals and gives following benefits
- Improves utilization of bound phosphorous by liberating inorganic phosphorous from phytic acid in plant materials.
- Supplementation of phosphorous in the from DCP can be reduced.
- Reduction in amount of phosphorous loss through excreta and thus reduces pollution of an environment.
- Improves utilization of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, Zinc, iron & proteins such as amino acids
- Improves metabolism and physiological functions of animals.

One phytase unit is defined as the amount of enzyme which liberates I micromole inorganic phosphorous per minute from 5.0 mmol of sodium phytate at 50o C and pH 5 under condition of test. Dosage
It is recommended to be used in feed for monogastric animals fed on diet containing plant material. The recommended dosage is 400 FTU- 1000 FTU per kg of feed. The optimum dosage needs to be standardized on basis of trails only. Characteristics
